Lisa is a 1985 graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Vocal Performance. She has been a vocal instructor and studio vocalist for over 20 years and has been actively involved in church ministry as a worship leader, vocal coach, soloist, pianist and director for over 30 years. She has provided music for countless weddings, funerals, conferences and other special events.

Early in her marriage, Lisa began an intense battle with depression and a life-threatening illness that almost took her life. She now shares with other women, through music, worship and testimony, about her struggle as a Christian woman in the grip of depression and the victory God can bring.

Along with her personal solo ministry, she and her husband, Boomer, have also shared a worship and concert ministry in which they encourage couples to make their marriages all God intended them to be.

Boomer and Lisa live in Lake Oswego, Oregon, with their twelve year old son, Jake.
