Lisa graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Vocal Performance and since then has been a vocal instructor and actively involved in ministry as a worship leader, vocal coach, soloist and pianist, both locally and around the world. Music has been a huge, life-giving part of her world since she was young.
A few years after college she met and married her husband, Boomer. Early in their marriage she began an intense battle with depression and a life-threatening illness that took them to the end of themselves and into a deeper understanding of what it really means to live out the vows they spoke to each other the day they married. Through the years she has had many opportunities to share with others, through music, worship and testimony, about her struggle as a Christian woman in the overwhelming darkness of depression and the healing God can bring. She and Boomer have lived most of their lives in the Pacific Northwest and they have a grown son, Jake.
